With three goals scored in the tournament thus far, Williams boasts the highest number of goals scored by a single player in the Challenge Cup following her performance against the Spirit. With two wins and six points, the Courage sit atop the Challenge Cup standings. The Chicago Red Stars faced Portland Thorns FC on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in a scoreless draw. The Red Stars are currently tied for 7th place in the Challenge Cup standings. In the last meeting between the two teams, the Courage defeated the Red Stars 4-0 in the NWSL Championship game.
