CARY, N.C. **(March 2, 2023) – The North Carolina Courage today announce themes for select matches throughout the 2023 NWSL season. Further details regarding specific activities, entertainment and promotions for each themed match will be announced throughout the season.

The Courage begin their seventh season of play at WakeMed Soccer Park on March 25 against reigning NWSL runner-up Kansas City. Opening Day will be the first opportunity for fans to experience the new fan-driven game day enhancements announced last week, including the new FanFest along the entrance to the stadium that runs from 12:30 p.m. ET until halftime of the game. The club will once again hold its annual Pride Festival building off the success of last year’s event. This festival will feature local Triangle food options, vendors, and LGBTQ-owned businesses. The Pride festival will continue the club’s commitment to celebrating diversity and equality while supporting the LGBTQ+ community. The Courage will celebrate Juneteenth, host a back-to-school day and close out summer with a SummerFest in early September. The home finale will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month while also honoring our fans for their continued support with Fan Appreciation Night.
