CARY, N.C. (Feb. 3, 2023) – The North Carolina Courage today announce their preseason roster for the 2023 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) season. There will be 30 players on the active roster for preseason camp. The roster consists of 17 returning players from the 2022 season, four newly acquired players, four drafted in the 2023 NWSL Draft and five non-roster invitees.

Four players on the current roster are international slots. The Courage have two more international slots remaining and still may add to the roster before the season begins. Danish forward Mille Gejl, who the Courage signed in January, will join the team once her visa application is approved. Forward Tess Boade is with the team but is recovering from a shoulder injury.
