CARY, N.C. (April 4, 2023) – Seven members of the North Carolina Courage have been called to their national teams for the FIFA window of April 3 – 11. Five different countries will have Courage representation during the final tune-up before this summer’s World Cup, which allows a maximum of two matches.
Inter-squad action headlines the international break, with Courage captain Denise O’Sullivan leading the Irish National Team in a doubleheader against Emily Fox, Casey Murphy, and the World’s top-ranked U.S. Women’s National Team. O’Sullivan is expected to earn her 100th international cap in the first of the two meetings as Ireland uses a major test to prepare for their first-ever World Cup appearance.
