CARY, N.C. (Feb. 19, 2020) – The North Carolina Courage will kick off their 2020 NWSL season at home on April 18 against the Chicago Red Stars at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park. The time of the match will be announced at a later date. The game will be a rematch of the 2019 NWSL Championship, in which the Courage defeated the Red Stars 4-0 for their second-straight title.
Debinha, Crystal Dunn, Jessica McDonald, and Samantha Mewis each scored goals in the 2019 NWSL Championship last October, which also took place at Sahlen’s Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in front of a sold-out crowd. The 2019 champions will be honored in a pregame ceremony on April 18. Single-game tickets will go on sale on Monday, March 9 at 10:00 a.m. Season tickets are still on sale and can be purchased by calling 919-459-8144.
