CARY, N.C. (Thursday, March 14) — The North Carolina Courage and local child development center Sounds and Colors have partnered ahead of the 2024 NWSL season, the team announced Thursday.
Sounds and Colors, which has locations in Cary and Hillsborough, is a Spanish immersion child development center focused on early childhood education using a program inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach. Through the partnership, Sounds and Colors will have digital signage at North Carolina Courage games and players will be visiting the center’s classrooms during the season. “Sounds and Colors is thrilled to announce our partnership with the NC Courage, a leading women’s professional soccer team, as part of our commitment to community engagement. Together, we aim to leverage the power of sports and creativity to inspire and empower individuals across our community. Through this partnership, we look forward to creating unique experiences, events, and initiatives that bring people together, celebrate diversity, and foster positive change,.” Sounds and Colors owner Dan Rockaway said. “Soccer is truly a global game that unites people of diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences. Sounds and Colors’ focus on early childhood education, including teaching children a second language early in life, is inspiring and aligns with our own values as a club. We are proud to welcome them as a partner for the 2024 season,” Club President Francie Gottsegen said.
