
MICHELLE SAPSARA, PT, DPT, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT
Michelle earned a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from West Virginia University. She served as an officer and physical therapist in the United States Air Force for six years. In 2005, she earned certification as an orthopedic manual therapist and doctorate of physical therapy from Ola Grimsby Institute. She has completed post-professional education in biofeedback, trigger point, dry needling, and vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. Michelle earned accreditation as an orthopedic certified specialist in 2009. She completed a fellowship in orthopedic manual physical therapy through the Ola Grimsby Institute in 2014 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. She also provides physical therapy service for the Carolina Flyers and Raleigh Radiance.

Katie is the assistant athletic trainer for the North Carolina Courage. They earned their Bachelor’s of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Coaching Soccer and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from Michigan State University in 2019. They went on to earn a Master’s degree of Science in Post-Professional Athletic Training from the University of Toledo in 2021. Katie has several years of soccer experience, both at the professional and collegiate level. They have advanced training in osteopathic manual medicine and dry needling techniques.
